KIET Group of Institutions was established in Ghaziabad in 1998. The college is a private institution approved by AICTE and affiliated with Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow. It is recognized by the NBA and accredited with Grade A+ by NAAC. KIET Centre for Industrial Testing & Field Research (KCITFR) has been a NABL-accredited lab in the field of testing for two years. The institute is recognized by SIRO (Scientific and Industrial Research Organization). The institute holds a 4–star rating in IIC Annual performance in 2020-2021. The college is awarded a national award for Technology Business Incubator 2020. During the Academic Excellence Concave 2022, KIET has been titled an “Institution of Happiness' '. KIET has been recognized as the Institution of the Year 2022 at the 15th International Education Leadership & Skill Development Summit.
KIET Group of Institutions Ghaziabad offers 12 UG courses and 7 PG courses in the areas of engineering, management studies, IT and software, and Pharmacy. There are about 300+ faculties in the college. KIET has been ranked at the 88th position in the Pharmacy category by NIRF 2023 and 9th best among the NIRF 2022 ranked colleges in UP. The institute has an engineering rank band of 151-200 and an innovation rank band of 51-100 by NIRF 2023. The institute has been ranked in second position by ARIIA in the category of “Private Institutions (Technical)” in the year 2021. Students admitted are based on valid scores from the entrance exams such as the JEE MAIN/CUET/GATE/GPAT. The seats are then allocated on a counseling basis. KIET also accepts management quota students.
