DM in Paediatric and Neonatal Anaesthesia is a super specialty level course for doctors in India that they do after completing their postgraduate medical degree course. It includes neonatal physiology, fluid management, anesthetic equipment, and the conduct of anesthesia in children, along with postoperative analgesia.

The course is a full-time program followed at various acknowledged medical colleges nationwide. Seth GS Medical College and KEM Hospital, Mumbai, are the medical colleges offering this course.
Admission to this course is done via the NEET-SS Entrance exam conducted by the NBE, followed by counseling based on the exam scores that DGHS/MCC/State Authorities conduct.
The fee for pursuing varies from college to college and may range from Rs. 3 lakhs to Rs. 20 lakhs per year.
After completing their program, doctors can enter the job market or follow certificate and Fellowship programs recognized by NMC and NBE. Candidates can take reputed jobs as Consultants, Senior residents etc., with an approximate salary range of Rs.12 lakhs to Rs. 22 lakhs per year, depending upon their expertise.
