The CAT 2023 exam date is November 26, 2023. The exam will be held in three sessions in 155 cities. CAT admit card 2023 will be released on October 25, 2023. Candidates who have registered for the exam will be issued the CAT 2023 admit card by the exam authorities.
CAT 2023 registration is over. The application process started on August 2 and ended on September 21, 2023. This year, a total of 3.3 lakh applications have been received by IIM Lucknow, which is 30 % higher than last year and the highest ever since the inception of the CAT exam. The CAT form correction window opened on September 25; the last date to change the form was September 28, 2023.
This year, admission to the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) will also be based on a CAT score. Those planning to pursue an MBA from IIFT must complete the CAT registration form in 2023. The CAT 2023 exam date was announced on the iimcat. ac. Website on July 30.
The CAT form has six sections. Candidates must fill in relevant details in all six pages of the form for successful submission. Check below details related to the six sections of the CAT exam registration form 2023:
- Personal Details: In this part of the CAT application form, the candidates must enter details such as name, birth date, father's name, category, nationality, gender, communication address, email ID, mobile phone number, etc.
- Academic Details: In this section, the candidates must enter class 10th and 12th exam scores, bachelor's degree details mark sheet, and other professional course details (if any).
- Work Experience: If a candidate has relevant work experience, they must fill in details such as the company's name, duration of employment, designation, etc., in this section.
- Programs: In this section, the candidate has to select the IIM institutes of their choice and the MBA programs they wish to pursue.
- Test City: In this section, test city preference will be marked. Candidates can choose from six cities in order of preference from first to last in the CAT application form.
- Payment: Candidates can use a Credit/Debit Card, Internet Banking, or Paytm/PayU mobile wallets to pay the CAT application fee.
CAT Eligibility Criteria 2023
- The minimum eligibility criteria for the CAT exam is graduation with at least 50 percent aggregate (45 percent for SC/ST/PwD candidates) or an equivalent degree from a university recognized by the UGC.
- Final year graduation students are also eligible to appear for CAT, but the average score of the first two years must be 50 percent (45 percent for SC/ST/PWD candidates)
- Candidates of professional courses such as ICAI, ICSI, and ICWAI can also apply for the CAT exam.
